ESG Reporting

ENERGY STAR/EWRB

Energy and water usage can represent some of the largest operating costs in your building. Ontario’s Energy and Water Reporting and Benchmarking (EWRB) regulation (O. Reg. 506/18) requires all buildings 100,000 sq. ft. and larger to report their building’s energy and water use once a year to the Ministry of Energy. SSES can provide you with data input and analysis services for properties interested in tracking their utility data through the ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager (ESPM) portal. ESPM allows property managers to securely track and assess energy, natural gas, and water consumption as well as waste diversion, across multiple buildings and portfolios. A few of the benefits of reporting through energy star include the ability to generate an ENERGY STAR score for potential certifications, ability to benchmark both throughout the portfolio and with external ENERGY STAR buildings, data tracking and to be compliant with Ontario’s EWRB reporting requirement.
