Measurement & Verification (M&V)

Measurement & Verification (M&V)

The International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP®) is a framework that is used to verify two things:

1) a project has the potential to perform and save energy
2) quantify site-level energy and cost impacts from a targeted project.

IPMVP presents a structure of common principles and provisions widely accepted as vital to any good M&V process.

With working knowledge of IPMVP practices for different programs across the nation (municipal, provincial and federal), we are certain that we will be able to conduct a thorough review of your project and system to ensure greater accuracy. Our team at SSES has over 15 years of combined experience performing M&V for clients across North America. We have conducted M&V for projects with savings of over 10 GWh of electricity.
